Aims and Objectives
The Objectives of the Trust are affording, without discrimination to sex, religion or caste, medical relief and help for proper treatment of cancer and other related diseases:
- Top help financially in the treatment of Cancer
- To offer medical assistance and guidance to the persons suffering from Cancer in particular.
- Top publish and distribute educational material of interest to the patients/public at large to spread awareness on the dangers inherent in accepted social practices such as chewing of tobacco, smoking, drinking etc.
- Initiating steps for the early detection of cancer since treatment at early stage leads to a cure in a majority of case. To raise the standards of cancer services in Punjab by providing advanced facilities in screening, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
- To empower individuals and those affected with cancer to maintain the highest possible quality of life.
- To hold Meetings/Workshops/Symposia/Conferences etc. in furtherance of the objectives of the Trust.
- To invite Hematologists and Oncologists of National/Intemational repute to medical education programmes, symposia etc. organized by JIWAN CANCER SAHYOG TRUST
- To accept grants, donations, money or any other material from donors, philanthropists, other trusts and organization for furthering the objectives of JIWAN CANCER SAHYOG TRUST
